Clinker bricks

The production of bricks begins with an extrusion process: a mixture of different clays is fed into the extruder and a continuous clay bar with a constant cross-section is formed. Subsequently, this continuous rod will be cut into individual pieces of suitable thickness, which will be fired in a furnace at a temperature above 1200C. Through this type of process it is possible to produce bricks of various qualities, with CLINKER bricks being of the highest quality.

CLINKER bricks must meet the following three requirements:

  • Water absorption below 6%
  • Density higher than 2000 Kg/dm3
  • Compressive strength greater than 40 N/mm2
